How nicely do you take No for an answer?

Calmly? Stone faced? Numb? Or just plainly?

As I walked away from the college grounds on a rainy day, all i could hear was giggles and hush voices. Voices of girls discussing something of great importance.

NO as an answer was taken calmly.

"We are very happy to have you here BUT there are no seats to offer you, we are extremely sorry".

"Wish you all the best. "
